The retrospective study or “Back Analysis” is an effective method that allows to analyze the resistance of the land and to obtain, using the results from the load tests or “Pull Out Tests”, certain geotechnical parameters of the selected area for the construction.

In cases where prior geotechnical information is available, a review of the geotechnical parameters and the adjustment of the resistance values is made, based on the results of the load tests.

In our head office our technical team implements for each project an exhaustive analysis. This analysis allows us to recalculate the necessary depth of foundation for different sections of profiles, and for different loads based on their position (internal profiles, external profiles, drive post, etc. …)

This type of study is really interesting in the preliminary phase of the project, when the profiles are not yet defined, because it allows to analyze different scenarios, according to the specifications of the solar trackers manufacturers who are bidding for the project.

This kind of study helps us to provide the client with the guarantee of obtaining, in good time and in an appropriate manner, the optimal foundation solution for the project.
