The combination of intense rain and the impact of infrastructure on the land’s natural drainage network can cause significant flooding and areas of severe erosion. For this reason, hydrological and hydraulic studies are necessary to reduce the risks by optimizing the location of the installation and ensuring proper sizing of the drainage systems.
