GEOINTEC REALIZÓ EL GEOTÉCNICO PARA PRIMERA FASE DE LA PLANTA SOLAR MÁS GRANDE DE BOLIVIA

Los trabajos de geotécnicos de campo se realizaron en el Departamento de Oruro, a más de 3700 metros de altura.

En este proyecto Geointec se integró en la fase preliminar aportando soluciones de ingeniería del terreno, mediante la realización los ensayos de investigación geotécnica, los ensayos de hincado y pruebas de carga, el levantamiento topográfico y el Informe Técnico para el diseño constructivo de la plataforma de la subestación elevadora de tensión del parque solar.

La planta solar Oruro que estará integrada en el sistema nacional de energía, tendrá una potencia equivalente de 50 MW, de la cual se prevé construir una segunda fase de otros 50 MW que la convertirá en la planta solar fotovoltaica más grande de Bolivia.

Geointec realizó un estudio de deformabilidad del terreno para la determinación de los asientos, tras la aplicación de las cargas del terraplén de la plataforma de la SET, así como tras la aplicación de las cargas previstas para cada elemento a cimentar en la subestación eléctrica.

Para este proyecto, que Geointec realizó en varias fases, se desplazaron a Bolivia desde España dos ingenieros geólogos con amplia experiencia. La ejecución de las labores de campo se extendió durante algo más de 15 días y contó con el apoyo de personal local. El trabajo de Gabinete se realizó en nuestra oficina central en Madrid en dos periodos, durante los meses de julio y agosto del pasado año, y diciembre y enero del año en curso.

La primera fase de esta planta contará con aproximadamente 150.000 módulos solares y está prevista que inyecte 109.000 MWh/año de energía a toda la zona.

GEOINTEC PARTICIPA EN PROYECTO RENOVABLE EN TANZANIA

Tanzania tiene previsto el desarrollo de varias plantas solares y Geointec ha participado en la selección del terreno de una de ellas.

África se presenta como un mercado emergente en cuanto a energías renovables se refiere y Geointec está colaborando de manera activa, brindando la asesoría geotécnica en estos proyectos.

En ese sentido, uno de los aspectos críticos en la fase preliminar de un proyecto es escoger adecuadamente la ubicación del mismo, no sólo por los condicionantes propios del proyecto, sino por los condicionantes sociales, geotécnicos e hidrológicos. Por eso, Geointec ha prestado apoyo en la selección de la zona más adecuada, en base a las características geotécnicas e hidrológicas.

La participación de Geointec en este proyecto ha sido planteada en dos fases: Una primera fase, en la que se incluyó un estudio informativo y un training de dos días, que estuvo dedicado a la capacitación de técnicos para la elección de las ubicaciones de futuros proyectos en Tanzania, y la segunda, en la ejecución de los estudios geotécnicos.

Una vez determinada la zona más favorable para la ubicación de los módulos fotovoltaicos, se ejecutó un estudio preliminar mediante el registro y muestreos de suelos, y de manera consecutiva, un estudio geotécnico completo compuesto por una ampliación del registro y muestro de suelos, medidas de resistencia in situ de los suelos mediante ensayos a penetración y cizallómetros para la determinación de la resistencia al corte de suelos a corto plazo.

La realización de estos estudios de suelos en un terreno superior a 500 hectáreas serán fundamentales para la construcción de la planta fotovoltaica que tendrá una equivalencia de energía de unos 150 MW de potencia, que estará conectada a la red, a una línea de 20km de longitud y 225 kV de tensión.

Los ensayos de laboratorio fueron se analizaron por laboratorios nacionales, a partir de los cuales se ha obtenido la identificación geotécnica, y caracterización química para la determinación de la agresividad frente al acero y la corrosividad frente al hormigón.

Así mismo, se llevaron a cabo ensayos de resistividad eléctrica con un doble propósito, la determinación de la resistividad del suelo como parámetro para el análisis de la agresividad frente al acero, y así como la evaluación del suelo para el diseño de tomas de tierra.

Paralelamente se realizó un estudio hidrológico, con el fin de estudiar los caudales vertidos por cuencas externas y cuencas internas, en base a los periodos de recurrencia definidos, y se establecieron retranqueos de seguridad frente al eje aluvial más importante.

De acuerdo a publicaciones recientes tanto de organismos nacionales, como internacionales, Tanzania prevé cubrir en 2050, toda la demanda energética del país en base a las energías renovables.

Iniciamos el año haciendo un balance de los proyectos realizados, y resaltamos que sólo en la península ibérica, Geointec ha realizado más de una veintena de estudios geotécnicos para proyectos de energías renovables, lo que afirma el aumento de la producción de la energía verde en el país.

Un ejemplo claro de esto es la reactivación del desarrollo y construcción de diversos proyectos de energías renovables en todo el territorio peninsular, tal como han pautado los diferentes organismos de la UE encargados de promover el incremento del porcentaje de energía verde producida, de cara al cumplir el objetivo del 2020.

Por su parte Geointec, en 2018, elaboró estudios de suelos en más de 700 MW equivalentes de potencia en toda la península, y ejecutó sólo en el territorio español más de una veintena de estos, llegando a desarrollar hasta 12 proyectos de manera simultánea y en diferentes comunidades autónomas, lo que nos da la satisfacción de saber que aportamos un granito de arena al cumplimiento de objetivo general.

Gracias a las peticiones tanto de desarrolladores, constructores, fabricantes de estructuras como de tecnólogos, que han confiado en nuestra experiencia, hemos podido brindar soluciones de ingeniería del terreno plasmadas en un amplio abanico de estudios Geotécnicos, estudios Pull Out Test, levantamientos Topográficos y estudios Hidrológicos e Hidráulicos.
